1. Will our cottage contain everything we need?
We feel that where possible everything you need to enjoy your stay in our cottages is included but please don’t hesitate to ask.
2. Is smoking allowed?
Sorry, no smoking is allowed inside the cottages.
If smoking anywhere outside please dispose of cigarette ends safely.
3. Are Pets allowed?
1 well behaved dog is allowed by prior arrangement with owner and provided they sleep in their own bed/crate & isn’t allowed on the furniture.
4. Child / Baby Friendly?
Garden Cottage is probably more so than Dean Cottage as there is more space including off road parking & an enclosed garden.
Travel cot & high chairs are available for use in both cottages and a stairgate in Garden Cottage.
Garden Cottage is ideal as it has disabled access, shower room has raised toilet & grab rails, low entry shower with fold down seat & hand rails.
Ground floor is suitable for wheelchair users & those with limited mobility.
Perch stool & other mobility aids available on request.
6. What is provided?
Linen & towels ( including cot linen )
Dish cloth / drying towels
Welcome Pack including tea, coffee, milk, butter, jams and homemade bread whenever possible.
7. Fuel & Power – are they included in price?
Everything is provided.
Garden Cottage – has Oil Fired Central Heating, Calor Gas fire, & a Calor Gas Hob and electric oven.
Dean Cottage – has Oil fired Combi Boiler / Central Heating System – a basket of logs & kindling are provided. More can be purchased if required on request.

9. Bookings & Payment
Deposit:– When you book a £100 deposit is required or full amount if your stay is within 4 weeks.
Balance:– Balance will be due 4 weeks before the start of your stay. You will be reminded by email.
Payment:– Payment should be made in advance of your stay by BACS, Cheque, or PayPal. Cash in sterling is acceptable on request provided a deposit has been paid.
10. Arrival & Departure
Garden Cottage : Arrive from 15.00hrs. Depart before 11.00hrs.
Dean Cottage : Arrive from 16.00hrs. Depart before 10.00hrs.
This is to allow sufficient time to prepare the cottage for incoming guests.
When you book please inform us of your arrival time in order for us to arrange key collection.
11. How do I get there?
We will send travel directions approximately 2-4 weeks prior to your arrival.
A car is required for both Cottages although there is a taxi & bus service for local transport.
We do everything possible to ensure you have an enjoyable stay, but occasionally things go wrong.
If a problem arises, please contact us ASAP and we will do everything possible to rectify it.
Please do report all issues including breakages however small / minor.
13. Changing your plans?
In the first instance, please contact us to discuss.
If it is at all possible to accommodate them, we will be happy to help.
We would strongly advise anyone booking to stay at our cottages to take out holiday insurance to cover this eventuality.
If we are able to attract holidaymakers for the cancellation period we will refund all monies paid.
However, if we can’t then the deposit or full amount paid would be non refundable (Please see Freetobook Terms).
